"Hello Everyone Thank you for being here, I am Alie Oz,

​​New Ideas always comes from out of the box thinkers, outsiders, creative ones, crazy ones, progressive thinkers, risk takers and the ones being ignored most part... 
And of coarse there is the establishment... the existing understanding how things should be;  established rules, do's and don'ts. 
"The Club"


New ideas always floats around, all the time, always have and always will be, each generation has their progressive thinkers and truly creative minds. The question is, how the establishment perceive them? Will they welcome new ideas into their protective though process? Or will ignore them and resist changes? especially if ideas don't come from them! or will they realize that ideas are greater than anything, anyone or any ego, so their job is to serve to the ideas that are available to them, take pride of recognizing new and progressive ones, creative ones and be the true protecting power of progress, and advance their responsibility and their legacy.

Some era of the establishment is progressive, advanced and forward-thinking and usually, most likely,  make of all creative ideas advantageous and put in action and move their industry forward, and in contrast some era will be remembered as the lazy, under-active, negligent, indolent, hopeless or lost. Again, new ideas are all around us, the question is, how the establishment will relate to them? What is the establishment is about, how progressive are they? How much they want to succeed, rather than just survive?

Well, this era for print magazine industry is no different. After the  Internet and digital revolution settled in, Print Magazine Industry is on the crossroad. Their existing players has made the industry survived the initial shell-shock, with whatever tools and ideas were available to them!
Now is time for recovery and the renaissance of the industry with new and bold ideas to introduce the evolution of the industry,  in our opinion that is exceptionally under-appreciated and underutilized for too long. I read an editor saying that "Print magazines are to stay" Well of-coarse.. But they have to go through their evolution first and should not settle with the idea of staying, but succeeding handsomely, like never before.​ Because in the shadow of the fast-paced progress and mega success of all internet platforms and their machines, the new idea of persevering is not surviving anymore, it is succeeding as much as your competition., even more to get ready for their reaction.


If the new age surviving is succeeding as much as your competition, so what would be the new definition of success then?
The new definition of success is recognizing what your competition doesn't have and own it! And succeed with it!


Well,
print media has that advantage, all they have to do is recognize and utilize it and implement it on large scale to make it the core of its existence. Redefine what Art is, and implement it in its fabric, its ideology and all of the processes of its operation.

That is what we did, and we are here to share our ways, our ideas and our vision with the industry that what we believe is welcoming.


As far as I see, based on what I read, and witness of the testimonies of the industry leaders, they are searching for the next level, they are not satisfied with surviving alone,
they want to succeed, progress and advanced.

Well, that is good news! And in my opinion, they deserve all of the help they can get.

We worked on it for a while, made it work, perfected and made it the core of our Operation.

We believe Print Magazines for the New Age should be an effective tool for Arts, created by a Real Artists. 

It should be leading our cultures, our behavior, and our senses. It should be a platform for taste, innovation, creativity, ideas that inspire us, build consciousness and energy that will fill the void that is created by the disappearing Books and Book readers, either by the shortcoming of other forms of Arts, because of their short-sidedness, or greed, irresponsibility, lack of imagination, lack of generosity, lack of vision, low expectations, laziness, politics, self serving.. etc. whatever the reasons might be!

If we like to entertain the idea of
new age Print Magazines can be the tool we need for our cultures of the masses, we have to recognize what should be improved or changed in our under-appreciated, the incredible potential of the Print Magazine Media, and create a Purposeful options help to claim its new leading role to influence our cultures, and fill the void created by shrinking Book Readers, Products that is created by so-called Arts and Artists by their self-serving and useless self-expressions, or commercially sold out products designed to serve corporate agendas, greed, and sensationalism, with waste of energy, waste of time and money, waste of opportunities, therefore waste of Generations.
Well, some people may say, "
Wow! how can you make this very bold statement so easily?" Ok, It is a fair question for the ones who are not seeing this already. Let me put some light on it then!
I can speak about this for a very long time, I am writing a book about this specific view.. but for now, let me point it out one example among many. An example that relates to the role that new age magazine can fill and make the difference and earn being a leading art tool by real artists, and take the idea of Arts, from serving few to serving masses. and make the real difference in peoples thinking, their perceptions, senses and therefore in their lives.

Q: ASI的艺术观与大多数人对艺术的看法是不同的!请解释一下

Seems ASI's view of Arts is different than most people perceive Arts! Explain, please.

Alie Oz: If Arts suppose to makes us more sensible, awakening our consciousness, inspire us, makes us see the "light", therefore we become more sensible, more civil, more conscious, tasteful, openminded, tolerant, loving and more hopeful for the future
So
how can we explain what is going on in our culture then? What is this senselessness? Where are those so-called Artists and their Arts to inspire us to act sensibly? Why all this greed? this numbness, ignorance, tastelessness, this self-serving, narrow way of thinking? The Anger, Haterade? People being lost in their destitute, and despair, and their lack of consciousness? Where are the Artists that is going to save us? Inspire us? Lead Us? Is it an accidental movie we'll see will make us think and transform? How will the masses be moved and inspired? 
Well, it is pretty clear to me and I hope is clear to everyone that there is a disconnect here. Things that Arts suppose to provide for us to have a decent life are missing terribly. Seems to me that everybody is for themselves. What are the Art tolls connects our culture and us together?
The conclusion I can draw from this reality is that either so-called Artists are merely a craftsman or an opportunist charlatans, or the forms of Arts are wasted on brilliant creators, they are outdated, or it's ineffective, insufficient, or self-serving. Because either way, humanity in this culture is not getting any sensible, nor tasteful, thoughtful, understanding, not even tolerant towards anything other than they preach. They are not even comfortable with themselves, never mind with others who are different then themselves. 
Arts should be for the greater good. Yes, Arts should be generated, created, performed by a caring soul, through talents, taste, creativity, brilliance, etc. but it should take its form, shaped by an energy through consciousness, to be connected to another source of energies in order to be alive and organic, real, in order to make other peoples lives better, sensible, tasteful, beautiful, fruitful, tolerant, understanding, happier, etc. in large masses to create a better cultures therefore better lives, through the relationships created between Artists and its Audiences

Arts has to have a purpose, a greater purpose, far beyond self-expression, it has to connect to us in everyday lives through all our senses and influence our behavior to expend our potential to grow and evolve. 


Can you see it?

Just Imagine! If we can create a brand new platform, for real Artists who cares for life and other life forms, and let them communicate with their audience by enjoying sense of touching a paper, with a brilliant and unexpected presentations, with a surprise waiting for us on each page we flip, even though we might feel that we could stay on the previous page little longer to enjoy those brilliant colors a little bit more, and yet flipping the next page by compelled in to the anticipation of not knowing what is going to be on the next one, feeling like a little kid, regardless how deep our senses travel with what we are looking at, how sophisticated our awareness makes us feel what we read, while we are enjoying the climax of our taste pallet.
While feeling the power that we can enjoy each page as long as we want, and yet have no control what so ever what is waiting for us to see on the following page,
a relationship that is personal, humane and organic, exciting, tasteful, and fascinating.
Created by real artists, an exquisite Print Magazines can make you feel this. And We have imagined and created just that!
In
a partnership with digital media of coarse, not competing but by completing each other, by giving us what digital media cannot, and reminding us over and over again how important the print media is in our lives when it's done correctly when it is created as a form of Arts, knowing and counting on that relationship going to last forever as long as our need to touch a natural texture such as paper is needed.
New Age Print Magazines can give us this, they can be the leading Artform to inspire us, guide us, educate us in masses into the new century more effectively than any other Artform today. 

The ArtBook Magazines vision should not be seeing only a cultural, sentimental or artistic awakening and achievement
 because it is also an amazing business vision as well. And with it Print Magazine Industry will be introduced to a new reality of economics like never before.

Not the skeptics, but others who would love the idea in principle, but needed to know how things going to work and what will make things deliver whats being promised? Such as transforming struggling Publishing to a highly profitable business for instance?

Alie Oz:In order to answer these
we have to look at each component of this vision individually and explain why it will work as it is promised. And it is very important to understand that The key to the success of this vision to reach its potential and full fill its promises, is that all of its elements have to be connected properly, and correctly, and the right ways, for the right purposes as it's been designed, intended and visioned, without exception. Shortcuts or interpretations of the intended vision, alterations, assumptions, and elimination of the components of the process and its purpose, will cripple the process and derail the objectives of this vision, and bring results that are not intended, promised, nor expected.
The intended objectives of this vision to deliver its promises are the following:

Alie Oz: Publishing model of ArtBook Magazines & Print Collectibles are a
boutique publishing model. There will be allowed around 100.000 copies per major city/location. Certain cities and states will have more than one location. Certain parts of Publishing vision is confidential at this point. But eventually, we like to share the entire vision in details with all of the publishers, young entrepreneurs to be benefited by the entire publishing industry.
A boutique operation in many cities and locations has numerous benefits, 
the opportunities and economics that is created by multiple business options are unique and is the basis of ArtBook Magazine's publishing vision.

A top quality Magazine that will be distributed for free of charge certainly will rely on the Advertising revenues. Some might say, "Print advertising revenues are unpredictable, and dropping. So how can you rely on the Ad revenues be able to give away this kind of magazine for free of charge?

Alie Oz: Well
the Advertising revenues and our publishing vision have to be seen in the same view to understand the relationship and the support they give to each other to generate the desired revenues for the entire operation. 
Nevertheless, let's analyze the Print Advertising process, so we'll have a better understanding how that applies to our vision.
First of all,
Print advertising revenues are all about assumptions and predictions, they are not an exact science, Especially because of the relationship between Advertisers and Publishers, ABC and all. I don't want to get into the details right now, so I don't look like I am hitting below the belt. Nevertheless, in such relationship, there will be cracks and shortcomings that some small publishers will be paying the price, because of the false data. Even-though Advertisers are in publishers side and they want their clients to buy ads, but if their clients don't believe that their investments by buying ads don't justify their investment ad sales will drop. This is not a mysterious phenomenon, it is the end result of simple economics, so it cannot be seeing as a carpet analogy, it is very individual, therefore it doesn't apply to all magazines, even-though market analysts talks about as if it is a cross the board and unpredictable phenomenon. it is not!
Let's start by agreeing on that Advertising expectation is an assumption based on the quality of products and their true circulations, that Ad agencies representing their clients assume that their ad pages return their investments and justify their values. In print media, there is absolutely no confirmation for such readings, even online advertising, which is much more precise, there is no confirmation that ads justify their values what so ever either. 
So in our opinion, there are only a few commonsense factors effects the Ad sales, since circulation based measure is merely an assumption. Actually, all decisions about Advertising in print magazines are based on assumptions. Anyway..
First one is the price per page factor. Today's household name magazines in average, claims between 4.5 million to 800.000-1.000.000 copy circulation. And advertising cost could go up to $250.000 per page. This is a very big investment from buyer's point of view, especially if there is no guarantee of any kind for its return, and without any way to confirm its justification, this could be a pretty risky decision for the buyers, therefore only a few corporations can effort it. Is it possible that this kind of uncertainty could be the reason of Ad sales dropping? Because there are no other options for advertising in the print media buyers have to deal with this uncertainty of Ad sales for print magazines. 
The second factor is the quality of the magazines. Magazine creators cannot guarantee that their readers will have a special relationship with their product, therefore ad pages will receive relative respect and attention. Most likely each AD page going to be lost with the rest of the pages, in the package of no artistic values, no identity, nothing holds together, or grab the readers to demand their attention, so every page will earn a value for its creator and its buyer.  Most print magazines become a sound bite culture, and people lost their respect and interest on them, and therefore this flipping pages culture born without any respect towards those pages, right before throwing the magazine into the garbage. TV commercials are no different, people waiting for commercials to come on the screen to go to the bathroom or kitchen! So how can we justify the high priced TV commercials? Why buyers buy them then? Because they have no choice! There are no viable options for them. Well in ArtBook Magazine's vision there is a certain degree of demand for respect and justifications to this process
First of all the ArtBook Magazine publishing is a boutique operation, 100.000 copies per city/major location, therefore each page is the lowest priced, therefore advertising investment for the buyer is minimum. And yet, the product is the highest quality, collectible, so it stays on the eyesights months at a time and to be collected afterward. It is aimed at a specific reader that is desirable. in 0-15 case Tennis lovers (in the US 18 million Players, 27 million followers) representing their world at its best, and its free of charge. In addition, the advertisers have a much larger pool to choose from, from large corporations to small ones and individual entities because of its affordable priced Ad pages. And because of being a lifestyle magazine that caters all of the life interests of this high-value crowd, there is an unlimited type of advertising welcomed, and yet there will be limited pages available, one or two Advertising per industry per issue, on first come first basis. 
In our opinion, ArtBook Magazines Advertising model is exempt from the uncertainty of typical large adverting sales. Since we already know that Print Advertising standards are all about assumption and prediction, we are very comfortable to say that we can bet on ArtBook Magazines Model every time.



Q: 通常,突破性的想法不容易受到企業的歡迎,您如何處理?
Usually, groundbreaking ideas are not welcomed by the establishments that easily, how do you deal with it?


AlieOz: How we deal with it? Usually with patience and understanding. I rather focus on the solutions rather than the reasons for this hurdle. Yes most people do not relate to new ideas and that creates issues for all creative and progressive people, but in the same time, there are many advanced people out there as well, and maybe early round hurdles like a natural filtration, they are there to connect to the really creative minds eventually. When this vision, this new reality is introduced, usually people's reaction is to disbelieve, doubt, skepticism, and even cynicism, usually comes from people who are not capable, therefore afraid of progress, and they take it personally and defend their position rather than being open to new ideas right from the beginning. But when we go in to the details furthermore, share certain unique details that suggest new way of thinking and new results, when we show them how to make things work differently, as well as make them forget what they know and make them start to recompose the facts, and reconnect the elements differently in the direction of our vision, skepticism, cynicism disappears and replace itself to another disbelief in a good way, and transform into an excitement that is a pleasure to experience.

With its all of the dimensions, elements and thought process in place,
the vision I am sharing with you has the potential to be a revolutionary movement, all of you joining together to share its benefits, its success and its glory and become the generation that made it possible is in your reach, and it is waiting for your attention."
